The Bay View Collection is excited to announce four new partnerships with Maine charitable organizations for an opportunity to give back and show thanks as part of the company’s annual “Great Rates for a Great Cause” giving campaigns, available at each of our four boutique hotels in Camden & Rockport. This year, we have selected the Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital (MaineHealth) (partnered with Lord Camden Inn), Full Plates, Full Potential (partnered with 16 Bay View), Music and Magic of Maine (partnered with Grand Harbor Inn), and the Dempsey Center (partnered with the Rockport Harbor Hotel).

Donations for our “Great Rates for a Great Cause” campaign are generated through an amazing discounted offer at each of our hotels. Guests who choose to participate receive a 40% discount off their two or more-night stay (in select rooms and suites), and in exchange for this significantly discounted room rate, guests make a minimum donation of $50/night towards the charitable organization. This offer officially begins November 5th, 2024 and continues through April 30th, 2025.

Founded in 2015, Full Plates Full Potential is a non-profit dedicated to ending childhood food insecurity in Maine by maximiz-ing the use of existing child nutrition programs. Full Plates, Full Potential has made huge strides since their inception, working with a statewide coalition to help advocate for, write, and pass School Meals for All, making Maine one of the first states in the nation to guarantee free school meals for all students. Founded by actor Patrick Dempsey in 2008, the Dempsey Center provides personalized and comprehensive cancer care at no cost. After watching his mother’s journey with ovarian cancer, actor and Maine native Patrick Dempsey wanted to make a space where those impacted by cancer could find relief, comfort, and resources. The Dempsey Center opened its doors in 2008 and today provides care and support to hundreds of individuals and their families.
