Get ready for a delicious community tradition! Pies on Parade is returning to Midcoast Maine this March 14-16, offering locals and visitors the chance to sample sweet and savory pies while supporting AIO Food and Energy Assistance. This annual event, which had a successful 16-year run before the pandemic, is back in honor of AIO’s 35th anniversary.
The weekend-long event will feature over 50 “Pie Stops” in Camden, Rockport, Rockland, and Thomaston, including participating Bay View Collection hotels 16 Bay View and Rockport Harbor Hotel. Ticket sales will benefit AIO’s crucial programs, including food and energy assistance, supporting the many Knox County residents who rely on these services.
“This event is not only a fun way to bring the community together but also a chance to give back,” said Michelle Peacock, owner of Blue Harbor House Inn. “I’m so glad to see the enthusiasm from local businesses and how it brings attention to our area’s charm.”
Tickets are just $20 for one day or $35 for the entire weekend. Don’t miss out on the chance to enjoy some delicious pie while making a meaningful impact. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit www.aiofoodpantry.org/piesonparade.
